I’ve been a fan of Golden Goose Deluxe Brand for a while. They were established in the year 2000 after the collaboration between Francesca Rinaldo and Alessandro Gallo in Italy. Through the years, they have grown into a major designer brand with boutiques in multiple countries, and it’s one that style enthusiasts really love.

I’ve known about Golden Goose for years and I would often browse the selection at FarFetch, as they always had an fantastic selection, but I never ended up getting any because I always felt the price was too high and seemed too close in style to Converse, so they were always on my mental wishlist. A few years earlier, Adam was the one who originally loved the brand and he actually got his first pair of their Superstar sneakers last year, which was what pushed me to explore them deeper. After checking out his pair and realizing the uniqueness of each pair because they’re crafted by hand in Italy, I was even more curious. As the Golden Goose Superstar sneakers are pre-distressed and made to seem broken-in, they are all hand done so there’s no two pairs alike. Some have stronger distressing than others, so the variation is wide.
