About its founder
A seasoned professional familiar with all facets of contemporary marketing practices and principles, Harold (Hal) Pratt began his career writing copy at Bankers Life and Casualty over 35 years ago. There he learned the importance of testing elements that matter and the fundamentals of human persuasion.
In the 80's, he held management positions in account service and sales management at several of the Midwest’s top direct marketing firms. While there he helped industry leaders in fund raising, insurance, catalogs, publishing and restaurants explore new ways to increase sales and profits. Just prior to founding Pratt Direct, he served as Vice President, national sales manager for R.L.Polk & Company, responsible for over $30 million in capitalized billings.
